The are many different levels of assisting the Capuchin friars in our life and ministry, and we welcome any and all as unique gifts from God.

The fullest form invites young men to Join the Capuchin Friars by a public consecration of vows, which frees them for permanent and fulltime service of the Church.

Young women are similarly invited to Join the Poor Clares, contemplative nuns who joyfully consecrate their lives in community to praying for the entire Church.

Many young people, both men and women, commit a portion of their lives to working with friars full time, while living a simple and prayerful lifestyle in community with other volunteers in one of two Capuchin Volunteer Programs. Capuchin volunteers work in the U.S. in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, West Virginia, Maryland, the District, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut and in Capuchin missions in Papua New Guinea and Central America.

Part-time volunteers work with the friars in practically all of their various ministries, and contact can be made through Our Ministries page.

Such volunteers are also needed to help with the various activities of the Our Development Office in Denver which raises funds to assist in formation and ministry training of new friars, retirement needs of the elderly friars, and subsidizing the needs of friars in ministry and those serving in foreign missions.

Your can also help us by sharing with us and the people we serve the material blessings that God may have showered on you. This can be done in many different ways through our Development Office. A Secure Connection is available for on-line donations.

Still another way to help would be to buy our Sister's cookies. The Capuchin Poor Clares support their life of contemplative prayer for the Church (that includes you!) by marketing a brand of delicious handcrafted sugar cookies. You can order the cookies prepaid by using Our Secure Connection or by printing and using the form which appears there.

Finally, the most powerful method of aiding us in our service to the people of God is through prayer. Pray for us, that we remain faithful to the calling of our religious vocation. Pray for us, that many more young men and women may embrace the call of the Lord and join us in our Capuchin way of life. Pray for us, that through our various ministries we may be effective instruments of the Lord's love, mercy and compassion.
