"Good morning, good people," was a phrase of greeting used by St. Francis of Assisi. When fear of the COVID-19 pandemic caused the government to mandate stay-at-home orders and closed churches across the country, many people felt scared and isolated. These measures even led to a mental health crisis for a large segment of the population.

Recognizing the need to reach out to people in whatever way we could, the Capuchins began a new, daily (Mon-Fri) video series called "Good Morning, Good People." The series features a different friar everyday sharing a reflection of hope and joy in the midst of a very difficult time. The series became quite popular and many people have subscribed to receive the videos by e-mail. Below is the latest video in our "Good Morning, Good People" series:
