Pilgrims depart for Rome, Italy

Day 2: ROME / GRECCIO / ASSISI – 29 Oct.
Visit to the Sanctuary of Greccio, home to St. Francis’ original Nativity and the Church of Santa Maria del Giglio.

Day 3: ASSISI – 30 Oct.
Church of St. Clare and visit to her incorrupt body, San Damiano Cross, St. Carlo Acutis, Basilica of St. Francis and the Porziuncula.

Day 4: ASSISI / GUBBIO / LA VERNA – 31 Oct.
Visit Gubbio where St. Francis tamed the wolf and La Verna where he received the stigmata. Explore the beauty of La Verna!

Day 5: LA VERNA / LORETO – 1 Nov.
Explore the Sanctuary of La Verna and the Holy House in Loreto
carried from the Holy Land by angels.

Day 6: LORETO / LANCIANO / SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO – 02 Nov.
Eucharistic miracle of Lanciano and on to San Giovanni Rotondo where St. Padre Pio spent most of his life and received the stigmata.

Day 7: SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO / ROME – 03 Nov.
Visit the places associated with St. Padre Pio and spend time in silent reflection.

DAY 8: ROME – 04 Nov.
Papal audience with Pope Leo XIV in St. Peter’s Square, the stunning Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, site of the papal conclave.

DAY 9: ROME – 05 Nov.
Visit St. Mary Major, St. John Lateran, ascend the Scala Sancta and visit St. Paul Outside the Wall.

DAY 10: ROME / U.S.A. – 06 Nov.
Depart for home!
