Debbie Scott is a natural as Director of Development for the Capuchin Franciscans. With vast experience in business development, a strong commitment to her Catholic faith and a strong desire to spread the good news of the gospel, Debbie answers God’s call to participate in the Capuchin mission of evangelization and service to the poor and marginalized on a daily basis.

Debbie coached and trained business owners and their employees for almost eight years until June 2012 when she joined the Augustine Institute in a transitionary role as Director of Sales for Parish Programs (and a part-time theology student). After leaving the AI in 2013, she worked with various non-profits in a consulting role until joining the Capuchins in February 2016.

Enthusiastic about volunteerism both in the Catholic and professional arenas, Debbie has been active in youth ministry and adult catechesis as well as with organizations such as the Women’s chamber of Commerce, the Association for Corporate Growth and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Kansas in Chemical Engineering and Pre-Med and an MBA in Technology Management and e-Business from the University of Phoenix.
