Capuchin-educated John L. Allen, Jr., Rome correspondent for the National Catholic Reporter, tells how a "Deal between Capuchins, Muslims illustrates perils of reciprocity" in a 16 Oct. 2006 posting at the NCRCafe. The article tells of the efforts of our Brothers in Italy's Genoa province to help that city's Muslims open a worship site next to their friary in the Cornigliano neighborhood. This would seem to correspond well with Pope Benedict XVI's recent efforts to promote reciprocity between Christians and Muslims, but many in Italy consider it naivety to invite "terrorists" into their backyards.
