Feast of St Clare Sunday, August 11th was the feast of St Clare and Poor Clare Sisters, Capuchin Franciscan Friars, Secular Franciscans and friends gathered at Our Lady of Light Monastery to celebrate the occasion. Fr. Gene Emrisek, O.F.M. Cap. was the homilist. Afterwards there were refreshments in the Our Lady of Light Monastery garden. White doves were released in symbolic memory of our beloved St Clare.
