Going back to the roots of a theme close to the Pope of a simple return to the Gospel, Zenit offers a new book on Saint Francis of Assisi.
The volume offers a collection of meditations that Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa, Preacher of the Papal Household, had developed during the season of Advent in 2013.
The meditations entail the life, the works and the evangelical message of the poor one of Assisi, with the intent of explaining what the celebrated 13th century saint has to say to today's Church.
